AD5611 is a 10bit buffered voltage output DAC. It utilizes a versatile 3-wire serial interface that operates at clock rates upto 30MHz and is compatible with SPI, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, and DSP interface standards. The reference for buffered voltage output DAC is derived from the power supply inputs and, therefore, gives the widest dynamic output range. It also provide software-selectable output loads while in power-down mode. The low power consumption of this parts in normal operation makes them ideally suited to portable battery-operated equipment. The combination of small package and low power makes this nanoDAC device ideal for level-setting requirements, such as generating bias or control voltages in space-constrained and power-sensitive applications. This voltage output DAC is widely used in application such as voltage level setting, portable battery-powered instruments, digital gain and offset adjustment, programmable voltage and current sources, programmable attenuators etc. • Micropower operation is 100µA maximum at 5V, nanoDAC® family• Power-down typically to 0.2µA at 3V, slew rate is 0.5V/µs typ at (VDD = 4.5V to 5.5V)• Operating power supply range is 2.7V to 5.5V, power-on reset to 0 V with brownout detection• Guaranteed monotonic by design, input current is ±2µA max at (VDD = 4.5V to 5.5V)• Power efficiency is 96% at (ILOAD = 2mA and VDD = ±5V)• 3 power-down functions, SYNC interrupt facility, minimized zero-code error• Low power serial interface with schmitt-triggered inputs• On-chip output buffer amplifier, rail-to-rail operation• Relative accuracy is ±4.0LSB, operating temperature range is -40°C to +125°C• Packaging style is 6-lead thin shrink small outline transistor package [SC70]
